Scuderia La Caccia: Four Stars Between Sport and Passion

The great international season of Scuderia La Caccia in Bedizzole, near Brescia, enters its peak with the arrival of March. After warming up with one- and two-star events on the first weekend, the silica sand of the Giulio Cesare Arena and the new VIP Lounge are now preparing to welcome, from 12 to 15 March, athletes and spectators for the first four-star event at the Bonomelli venue, a location that is becoming increasingly prominent on the international calendar.

The Numbers of the CSI4*

Currently, 107 athletes and 293 horses from 27 nations have confirmed their participation in the CSI4* alone. A further 106 horses will compete in the CSI1* and 75 in the CSIYH1*.

All will compete on courses designed by Paolo Rossato, assisted by Matteo Landi.

Everyone is undoubtedly expecting a great weekend of sport and excellence from this four-star event, which will pave the way for the highlight of the Scuderia La Caccia season: the Italian leg of the Longines EEF Series with the CSIO3* of the European Equestrian Federation. Together with the CSI2*, this will be the main attraction of the eagerly awaited weekend scheduled from 14 to 17 May.

Scuderia La Caccia has always been synonymous with excellence and the utmost attention to every aspect related to the training of horses capable of competing with the best European breeding lines in terms of genetic and sporting potential. With the 2026 international season, the centre has chosen to further accelerate its sporting calendar, positioning itself as a venue of great international interest in a strategic location — close to Lake Garda — that represents a gateway to Europe and the world thanks to its geographical position.

An impressive main arena — the largest in Europe — five training arenas, an indoor riding hall, and 300 stalls for competition horses are all set within a 30-hectare estate, where everything revolves around a tremendous passion for top-level sport.

“The CSI4*, like every event we host at Scuderia La Caccia, is much more than just an international competition for us,” explains show director Beatrice Guidi. “It is the moment when everything we believe in takes shape: the care and well-being of the horses, respect for every athlete, and meticulous attention to every detail. Our goal is for every horse, rider, groom and guest to feel that they are in a truly special place — because for us, it truly is.”

Nations Represented in the CSI4*

The nations that have responded to the four-star call of Scuderia La Caccia are:

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Korea, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary and, of course, Italy.

The Italian representation in the CSI4* includes 27 athletes and 68 horses, with many combinations regularly involved in the Italian national teams.

The CSI4* is an international show jumping competition recognised by the FEI – Fédération Equestre Internationale, featuring courses up to approximately 1.55–1.60 metres and bringing together some of the best riders and horses in the world.

Scuderia la Caccia: fra sport e passione

Con il mese di marzo la grande stagione internazionale di Scuderia La Caccia a Bedizzole entra nel vivo. Dal 12 al 15 marzo il centro bresciano ospita il CSI4* Bedizzole, primo quattro stelle della stagione 2026.

Dopo aver scaldato i motori con gli appuntamenti a una e due stelle del primo weekend, ora la sabbia silicea dell’arena Giulio Cesare e la nuova VIP Lounge si apprestano ad accogliere, dal 12 al 15 marzo, gli atleti e il pubblico del primo quattro stelle del centro di casa Bonomelli, con i suoi eventi sempre più protagonisti del calendario internazionale.

I numeri del CSI4* di Bedizzole

È confermata al momento la presenza, per il solo CSI4*, di 107 atleti e 293 cavalli, in rappresentanza di 27 bandiere. Nel contestuale CSI1*, saranno in gara altri 106 cavalli, 75 nello CSIYH1*. Tutti si misureranno sui percorsi predisposti dal course designer Paolo Rossato, coadiuvato da Matteo Landi.

Quello che tutti si aspettano da questo quattro stelle è indubbiamente un grande weekend di sport e di eccellenza, che facciano da apripista all’evento clou della stagione di Scuderia La Caccia, ovvero la tappa italiana della Longines EEF Series con lo CSIO3* della European Equestrian Federation che, insieme al CSI2*, sarà il piatto forte dell’atteso fine settimana di metà maggio, dal 14 al 17.

Da sempre sinonimo di eccellenza e massima cura di tutti gli aspetti legati alla formazione di cavalli che possano confrontarsi per potenzialità genetiche e sportive con le migliori produzioni europee, con la stagione internazionale 2026 Scuderia La Caccia ha scelto di imprimere un’accelerazione verticale anche ai propri impegni con il calendario agonistico, ponendosi come polo di grande interesse agonistico internazionale, a un passo dal Lago di Garda, in una location strategica che costituisce per collocazione geografica una porta sull’Europa e sul mondo.

Un’arena principale che vanta il primato di essere la più grande d’Europa, 5 campi di allenamento, maneggio coperto, 300 box per i cavalli in gara.

La rappresentativa italiana per il CSI4* è composta da 27 atleti e 68 cavalli, con molti binomi nel ‘giro’ delle squadre ufficiali azzurre.

EEF Confirms 2026 Longines EEF Series Calendar

The European Equestrian Federation (EEF) is pleased to announce the official competition calendar for the 2026 Longines EEF Series. Now in its sixth edition, the Series continues to provide one of Europe’s most influential pathways toward top-level Nations Cup competition.

The 2026 season kicks off at the end of April in Mannheim, Germany, and unfolds through eight regional qualifiers and two semifinals across both traditional strongholds and emerging venues. A notable new addition this year is Borgo la Caccia in Bedizzole, Italy. The venue near Lake Garda represents an exciting expansion for the Series and offers teams a fresh international competitive opportunity. The season concludes at the renowned Final in Avenches, Switzerland, from 3–6 September 2026, where last year’s inaugural edition drew widespread praise for its sporting excellence and vibrant atmosphere.

For the first time, Peelbergen in the Netherlands will host the North–West Regions semifinal, bringing the sport to a venue that has rapidly become a key hub in European equestrian development, recognised for its world-class facilities and year-round professional environment. Bratislava in Slovakia returns as the South–Central Regions semifinal host, held at Samorin’s acclaimed X-Bionic Sphere, an elite multi-sport complex known for its expansive arenas, state-of-the-art footing, and championship-level challenges that test both precision and stamina as nations battle for one of ten coveted places in the Final.

From Mannheim’s grand showground setting to Deauville’s Normandy coastal charm, from Budapest’s proud equestrian tradition to Drammen’s dramatic Scandinavian backdrop, and on through Lier’s vibrant Belgian stage, Stutteri Ask’s distinguished Danish setting, and Thessaloniki’s Mediterranean character, the 2026 Series highlights Europe’s rich equestrian culture.

“The Longines EEF Series has become a vital bridge between national development and top-level Nations Cup sport. It gives riders and horses from every region in Europe meaningful opportunities to compete, progress, and gain essential national team experience,” said EEF President, Quentin Simonet.

“The 2026 calendar celebrates Europe’s diversity with a blend of traditional venues, emerging locations and organisers whose strong commitment plays a key role in the Series’ success. We are especially pleased to welcome a new host in Italy, and to see Peelbergen hosting a semifinal for the first time. Returning to Avenches for the Final underscores its central European location and convenient access for all competing nations, exemplifying exceptional sport and the spirit of unity that defines this Series. I would also like to highlight the vital contribution of Longines, the Series’ original and renewed title partner, whose steadfast commitment has been instrumental and continues to drive the Series’ evolution.”

Designed to give athletes, horses, and National Federations a structured, team-based competitive environment, the Longines EEF Series has become a cornerstone of European show jumping development. Its format of regional qualifiers, semifinals, and a ten-nation Final, prepares emerging combinations for future championship stages while celebrating the continent’s sporting strength and diversity.
