Four days of international show jumping came to a close at Scuderia La Caccia, with the CSI3*, CSI1* and Young Horse competitions held in Bedizzole, near Lake Garda, from 17 to 20 September.

The highlight of Sunday’s programme was the CSI3* Grand Prix H.150 – FEI Longines Ranking “C” by Sergio Grasso, where Switzerland’s Jason Smith and Picobello Van’t Roosakker claimed victory with a clear round in the jump-off, stopping the clock at 40.58 seconds.

While the September international has come to an end, the sporting season at Scuderia La Caccia continues, with national competitions scheduled until the end of October.

Jason Smith Claims the Sergio Grasso Grand Prix

The Grand Prix concluded the CSI3* competition in Arena Giulio Cesare. Jason Smith and Picobello Van’t Roosakker took the win, stopping the clock at 40.58 seconds in the jump-off.

Karin Martinsen (SWE) and Tailormade Conita Blue PS finished second in 41.49 seconds, followed by Niall Talbot (IRL) and Charming Dream Z in third place with a time of 41.77 seconds.

Sergio Grasso: Celebrating the Podium

Monica Grasso attended the podium ceremony and personally presented the awards on behalf of Sergio Grasso. The three placed riders each received a pair of custom-made riding boots, while the grooms of the top three combinations were presented with Sergio Grasso backpacks.

Four Days of International Show Jumping

From 17 to 20 September, Scuderia La Caccia welcomed athletes and horses for a programme featuring CSI3*, CSI1* and Young Horse competitions.

The CSI3* welcomed 129 athletes and 298 horses, with riders representing 28 nations. Across the whole event, the venue hosted 256 athletes and 472 horses, bringing together an international field for four days of competition.

The Lounge Experience by Borgo La Caccia

Throughout the event, owners, sponsors, partners and special guests were welcomed to The Lounge Experience by Borgo La Caccia.

Overlooking Arena Giulio Cesare, the lounge offered a dedicated space from which to enjoy the competitions, complemented by carefully curated food and wine.
