International show jumping returns to Lake Garda as Scuderia La Caccia hosts its summer FEI competition, featuring the CSI3* across four days of sport in Bedizzole, province of Brescia. With 250 athletes and 457 horses from 30 nations, the 2026 edition is among the most attended international show jumping events held at this Lake Garda venue. The event is part of the Garda Tour, the international show jumping circuit based at Scuderia La Caccia
CSI3* Lake Garda 2026: an international show jumping field of 139 riders
The CSI3* draws 139 competitors and 316 horses, with delegations spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia and beyond.
Switzerland fields one of the strongest squads, led by Olympic champion Steve Guerdat, alongside Anthony Bourquard, Barbara Schnieper, Faye Schoch and Simone Mortier. The United States sends seven athletes including Jessica Springsteen, Adam Prudent, Alessandra Volpi, Anna Dryden, Kasey Ament and Mavis Spencer.
Germany’s eight-strong team is headlined by Christian Kukuk, with Elisabeth Meyer and Joanna Assenmacher among his teammates. Spain brings seven riders, with Sergio Alvarez Moya and Fernando Fourcade Lopez on the start list.
Ireland’s Mark McAuley and Kevin Thornton combine for eight horses. France fields ten athletes including Pierre Alain Mortier and Charles Rulquin. The Italian contingent — 61 athletes and 134 horses — is the largest national group, featuring Alberto Zorzi, Emilio Bicocchi, Guido Franchi and Roberto Previtali among others.

Located in Bedizzole between Milan and Verona, Scuderia La Caccia is one of Italy’s leading FEI international show jumping venues. Its proximity to Lake Garda, combined with strong infrastructure and consistent event quality, has made it a well-established stop on the European summer circuit.
