Scuderia La Caccia has reached a remarkable 13. That is the number of national teams competing in the Nations Cup CSIO3 Bedizzole*, the Italian leg of the Longines EEF Series (LES), on Friday 15 May at the Bonomelli family’s facilities on Lake Garda.
Nations Cup CSIO3* Bedizzole: 13 Teams from Four Continents
The first qualifying round of the Southern Region of the 2026 European Equestrian Federation Nations Cup circuit features six regional teams: Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine. Joining them are Brazil, France, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Team Italy at the CSIO3* in Bedizzole
Italy fields five combinations under Team Leader Mario George Verheyden and Team Manager Marco Bergomi: Giacomo Bassi and Cash du Pratel, Piergiorgio Bucci and Casalia DG, Bruno Chimirri and Je Suis Godot d’Acheronte, Elisa Chimirri (Under 25) and Cornico, and Emiliano Liberati and Aruba Island. 250 Athletes, 420 Horses, 33 Nations
The four-day competition runs from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 May. Alongside the Nations Cup, a CSI2* and CSI1* take place simultaneously. When all participants are counted, the event brings together 250 athletes, 420 horses, and 33 nations from four continents. As a result, Bedizzole and Lake Garda will be firmly in the international show jumping spotlight.
The Season’s Crowning Moment
For Scuderia La Caccia, the CSIO3* LES represents the highlight of an already outstanding first half of the season. Three Garda Tour events (CSI4*/3*/2*/1*) and the centre’s first international dressage competition (CDI3*) have already taken place in the months prior.
